The 'When She Was Mine' stars take a moment to reflect on their first year in pop.
Lawson have been taking to Twitter to thank their fans for "the best year" of their lives as they prepare to ring in 2013 tonight.
The 'Taking Over Me' stars released their debut single 'When She Was Mine' back in July and have since gone on to score a top five album and performed at some of the biggest venues in the country, including Wembley Stadium.
Drummer Adam Pitts took the time to reflect on their continued support over the past twelve months and called 2012 the "best year ever".
"Incase i dont get a chance to say this tonight, I want to say thank you to every single one of you who has supported us in the last year," he wrote. "Any one who has got a ticket to one of our shows, bought our album or any of our singles, came to meet us outside a radio station..."
"..waited in the cold outside a train station or an airport all over the world. Thank you so much. It means SO much to us. Thanks to everyone who works with us, we have the best team in the world!"
He concluded: "Basically 2012 has been the best year ever! Now for 2013...!!!!!"
Bandmate Ryan Fletcher also logged onto his social networking account and added: "New years eve. Wanna thank you all for the best year of my life. Let's have an even better one in 2013! X."
The band will be heading out on their 'Chapman Square' UK tour in February after performing a series of shows across North America in January.
