The 'Born This Way Ball' may have ended early (sad face), but there's still Lady Gaga's brand new album 'ARTPOP' to look forward to! Get yourselves ready for the Mother Monster's third album with everything we know, everything we THINK we know (and a few things we don't) about the new Gaga record.
The 'You & I' singer teasingly showed off her latest tattoo to fans in summer 2012, when she revealed the name of her next record as 'ARTPOP' with a block capitals tattoo on the back of her arm. Now THAT'S how you announce something! Picture: Littlemonsters.com
The Mean Girls star is well known to be friends with Gaga, who has defended the Hollywood starlet on Twitter before, and recent rumours suggested the Mother Monster may be lining Lindsay up with a starring role in one of her 'ARTPOP' videos. Fingers crossed Little Monsters!
Never one to leave her fans wanting more, Gaga gave the Little Monsters exactly what they wanted when she posted what appeared to be song lyrics from her new record on Twitter. Get learning those lyrics now!
One of the strangest stories to come out during Gaga's recording process for the follow-up to 'Born This Way' is that the 'You & I' singer has been going au natural in the recording studio and laying down some vocals in the buff! Picture: littlemonsters.com
While little is known for sure about Gaga's next studio record, one thing that's certain is that it won't be traditional by any stretch of the imagination. The 'Judas' singer has hinted that the album could be released as a multimedia app, to give fans a complete "experience" of audio and visual when they listen to 'ARTPOP'!
The US star has made no secret of her adoration of celebrity photographer Terry Richardson, and the two are now working on a documentary about Gaga's life and career. It doesn't seem too crazy to think this could easily tie in with the launch of 'ARTPOP' later this year... Picture: Twitter
'212' rapper Azealia and Gaga have both openly said they want to work together, and it seems they've finally teamed up on a song called 'Red Flame' that fans have already had a sneak peak of. Could Miss Banks be one of the featured artist on 'ARTPOP'? Only time will tell...
Arguably one of Lady Gaga's biggest hits to date is her Beyonce team-up 'Telephone', and fans look to be in for a big treat in 2013 after the US singer promised 'ARTPOP' will feature a sequel of sorts to her massive worldwide hits. T-T-Telephone indeed!
Fans of Lady Gaga were certainly happy when they heard they might get not one, but two doses of the Mother Monster in 2013! The 'Just Dance' singer has suggested that she may drop new album 'ARTPOP' in two separate volumes, to really whet the appetite of her Little Monsters! Picture: Splash
As long as catastrophe doesn't strike then one thing's for sure... Gaga's fans will be able to get their paws on 'ARTPOP' sometime this autumn, after the star confirmed plans to release her latest record before the end of the year.
While the US star has yet to announce a tracklisting for 'ARTPOP' she has gone on record to say there are already over 50 song recorded and ready for the album, so who knows how many new songs fans will be treated to when 'ARTPOP' finally arrives?
The Mother Monster kicked off 2013 in her usual teasing style when she shared some lyrics from what appears to be a brand new song from her new record. "We could be caught, were both convicted criminals of thought - Sex Dreams #ARTPOP".
The 'Judas' singer has teamed up with producer Zedd for some of her 'ARTPOP' songs, and the US producer recently promised fans the two have been working on some of her "craziest" material yet. Watch this space!
The 'Born This Way' singer has regularly worked with jazz legend Tony Bennett over the past year, even promising a separate jazz album collaboration between the pair, so it isn't complete crazy to imagine she may well task the popular crooner to sing a line or two on her own new album!
It's a bold claim, but regular Lady Gaga collaborator RedOne promises fans will not be disappointed by the star's third studio album and insists the record will make history in the music industry. Get ready Little Monters.... 'ARTPOP' is coming!
