Lady Gaga Confirms Wizard Of Oz Themed 'Applause' Performance On Good Morning America

The 'Marry The Night' singer shares a teaser of her plans for the stage on the show this Monday.

Lady Gaga has told fans to expect a "theatrical" retelling of the Wizard Of Oz next week for her performance on Good Morning America.

The 'Marry The Night' singer is set to take to the stage on Monday (9th September) to perform new single 'Applause', and has vowed to put on a "Gaga of Oz" style performance when sheets on camera.

"I will be LIVE on @GMA this Monday Morning Sept 9 performing APPLAUSE in a 'GAGA of OZ' theatrical rendition!" Gaga announced at the start of this weekend.

The 'Applause' singer then even shared a mock-up sketch of the staging she will be using for the performance, which features the film's iconic yellow brick road.

"When Dorothy goes GLAM snatches all the weaves of OZ," Gaga continued to tease. "Outsmarting the Wicked West as she thrills for your APPLAUSE!"

Gaga's performance on Good Morning America comes fresh from her debuting seven brand new songs live at the iTunes Festival 2013 earlier this month (1st September).

Lady Gaga is set to officially release new album "ARTPOP' on 11th November.
