The 'Bad Romance' singer was named among the biggest earners from the social networking site last year.

Lady Gaga has been named one of the top Twitter earners in the world after it was claimed she earns a significant amount of money just by tweeting.

The 'Marry The Night' singer has well over 30 million followers on her Twitter account, which she uses to give fans exclusive content, updates on her life and pictures from her travels.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Lady Gaga is second only to Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey in a list of the top five people who earn money by using their social networking account in the right way.

Forbes estimates that of the $52 million the 'You & I' singer earned between May 2011 and May 2012, one third of that total ($17 million) came from her Twitter account.
