Lady GaGa's controversial meat dress has been named as the Fashion Statement of 2010.
It was a dress which shocked everyone at September's MTV Video Music Awards but now Time magazine has praised the unique dress in the end-of-year poll.
The magazine said: "If making fashion statements is your primary raison d'être, it's easy to get bored. Exploding bra? Flamed out. Dress made of bubbles? Please. Using your hair as a bow? Not again.
"But a dress made of meat - with shoes, hat and purse to match - well, that's fresh," before describing the outfit as "haute cutlet."
The star is performing at London's O2 Arena tonight (Dec 16)
