The 'You & I' singer is said to be keen to resume work on her third studio album.

Lady Gaga's manager says the pop star is "doing wonderful" after having surgery last month to repair a tear on her hip.

The 'Judas' star was forced to cancel the remainder of her 'Born This Way Ball' world tour last month after suffering from chronic pain in her hip, and had surgery to solve the issue on 20th February.

Vincent Herbert, who is part of Lady Gaga's management team, has been quoted saying she is recovering well one month on and is "ready to get back to work" on her new album 'ARTPOP'.

The 'Marry The Night' singer is said to be working on "very refreshing" new material for her third studio outing, according to an interview Vincent did this week reported by the New York Daily News.

"I can't wait for the world to hear her new music and see her come back healthy, strong and better than ever," he added.

Earlier this month it was reported that the 'You & I' star is planning to wed her longterm boyfriend Taylor Kinney this summer, although neither party has addressed the rumours.

Lady Gaga has promised fans she will be back with her new album 'ARTPOP' this autumn.
