The 'You & I' singer could be making her first big appearance since her career-threatening surgery.

Lady Gaga is rumoured to be making her first full appearance later today (28th June) since back in March after her hip surgery.

The 'Marry The Night' singer is reportedly expected to make a speech at the New York City Gay Pride 2013 kick-off rally this evening.

A source close to the New York City Pride told Huffington Post that Gaga will be appearing to speak at the even, in line with her ongoing support for the gay community.

Over the past week Gaga has sent numerous tweets supporting the case against US federal law the Defence Against. Marriage Act, which was eventually overturned in the US Supreme Court as unconstitutional.

This week also saw reports that Gaga has moved into a $22,000 a month New York City penthouse apartment overlooking Central Park, with her actor boyfriend Taylor Kinney.
