Lady Gaga: Madonna never sent email
Madonna's rep has denied the singer ever sent Lady Gaga an email giving her blessing for 'Born This Way'.
The single was criticized for sounding similar to Madonna's 'Express Yourself'.
However, when questioned about the similarities, Gaga told Jay Leno: 'I got an email from her people and her, sending me their love and complete support on behalf of the single and if the queen says it shall be, then it shall be.'
Madonna's representative told CNN's Headline News that the singer was 'unaware' of any email sent to Gaga.
