The 'Electronic Earth' rapper tells Capital FM he's in discussions with both US stars.

Labrinth has revealed that he's working on new songs for Alicia Keys and Will.i.am.

Speaking exclusively to Capital FM, the 'Earthquake' rapper said was in the middle of discussing his collaboration with Alicia.

"I spoke to her over the phone. She called me in rehearsal while we were getting ready for the tour and we spoke about working," he said.

Labrinth said Will.i.am approached him at the BRIT Awards and the pair talked about working together.

"Will.i.am came and stopped me and said, 'I love 'Earthquake', we need to work'," Labrinth said.

"I'm like, 'What's going on with my life, it just keeps getting more crazy'. I took his number and he sent me an email and I'm going to work on one of his records."

Labrinth, who releases his debut album 'Electronic Earth' this month, added that he was a big admirer of the Black Eyed Peas star.

"He's the coolest guy I've met in the business. He doesn't even know he's Will.i.am," the 'Last Time' rapper added.

Meanwhile, Labrinth is currently giving fans the chance to hear a preview of each song from 'Electronic Earth' ahead of the album's release.
