Kelly Rowland Hits Back At Twitter Critics After The X Factor Final

The Destiny's Child member denies she was under the influence during last night's show.

Kelly Rowland has hit back at comments from Twitter followers saying she was intoxicated during The X Factor final last night (11th December).

The 'Down For Whatever' singer was emotional throughout the show and especially following the announcement that Little Mix were crowned the winners of the series.

Taking to her Twitter account, Kelly Tweeted: "Nice try, but I wasn't under the influence, in ANY way..........just overwelmed by the crowds cheers!"

Comments began surfacing on Twitter following Kelly's comments to Little Mix where she wished the girls a "Merry frickin' Christmas" and also asked host Dermot O'Leary to repeat a question during the live show.

Following the result last night, Kelly also tweeted a message of congratulations to Little Mix and their mentor Tulisa.

"Congrats @littlemixoffic!! I know you guys have an amazing future ahead of you... Well done, ladies, and great job @officialtulisa!," she posted.

Little Mix beat Marcus Collins to become the first ever group to win the X Factor which produced messages of praise from former group runners up JLS and One Direction.
