Kelly Clarkson Calls Britney Spears The X Factor USA Appointment "Cool"

The 'Mr. Know It All' singer admits it is great to see the 'Toxic' singer back in the public eye.
Kelly Clarkson has given her seal of approval following the announcement that Britney Spears will be joining the new series of The X Factor USA.
The 'Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)' star told ET Online that everyone "loves" the 'Criminal' singer and thinks it's a "cool" appointment.
"I think it's cool," she confessed. "I think it's cool just to see her back in the public eye. People love her. Everybody wants to root for her."
Kelly is due to star in a new music reality show of her own later this month called Duets alongside the likes of John Legend and rose to fame through winning the first season of American Idol.
Meanwhile, current judge on American Idol Jennifer Lopez has also spoken out on the news of Britney Spears as a judge on the show and said she is "scared" for her as she remembers her own feelings when she first started recording live shows.
Kelly has also today (16th May) revealed details of a brand new UK Arena tour which will kick off in October.
