Kelly Clarkson Returning To American Idol To Perform New Song 'People Like Us'

The 'Mr. Know It All' singer is set to head back to Idol next week for a homecoming performance.
Kelly Clarkson is set to make her return to the show that launched her career when she performs on American Idol next week.
The 'Dark Side' singer will be performing a brand new song on the US competition's results show next Thursday (11th April).
Kelly is expected to perform new song 'People Like Us' when she makes her return to American Idol, after being the show's first winner way back in 2002.
The singer released a greatest hits collection at the end of 2012, while she memorably won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album for her 2011 record 'Stronger' earlier this year.
US star Kelly has confirmed plans to wed her fiancé Brandon Blackstock this autumn, after announcing her engagement shortly before Christmas 2012.

Kelly Clarkson will join Maroon 5 on the Honda Civic tour this summer starting with a show in St. Louis on 1st August.
