'The Part Of Me' singer completes the line-up for this year's summer event at Wembley Stadium.
Katy Perry is set to play this year's Capital FM Summertime Ball, it's been announced.
The hottest music event of the summer will take place at Wembley Stadium in London on 9th June 2012.
The 'Teenage Dream' star will make a special appearance at the event just months after concluding her massive 'California Dreams' world tour.
That jaunt came in support of her critically acclaimed second album 'Teenage Dream', which dominated albums charts around the globe.
The album included the singles 'California Gurls', 'Firework' and 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)'.
Katy joins a massive line-up of the biggest stars in hit music, including Coldplay, Justin Bieber, Usher, Pitbull, Flo Rida, Kelly Clarkson, Ed Sheeran, Example, The Wanted and Jessie J.
Meanwhile, the singer will also be releasing her first ever 3D concert movie 'Katy Perry: Part Of Me' this summer.
The star was also recently in attendance at the Coachella Festival 2012 and watched close friend Rihanna perform with Calvin Harris.
Tickets for the fourth edition of the event go on general sale on Monday (23rd April 2012) at 8am.
