The 'Part Of Me' star's insurers are worried the device could cause a serious neck injury.

Katy Perry has been told not to wear her famous spinning bra over fears it could cause her an injury.

The 'Teenage Dream' star's insurers have warned the singer that her hair could get caught up in the stage costume and damage her neck.

"I keep being told the insurers are worried I will injure my neck," she said.

"I seriously doubt it could be lethal but they want a new bra designed that will not allow hair to be caught up. Well, I was always known at school as the over-the-shoulder-boulder-holder."

Speaking to The Sun, Katy recalled one instance when her hair got tangled in her peppermint bra, and continued to coil around the device.
"I'm forced to just go with it", she added.
