The 'Firework' singer reveals she has been staying up late working on new music for her next record.

Katy Perry has confirmed she is back in the recording studio working with Sia on her third studio album.

The 'Part Of Me' star has been writing songs for the follow-up to 'Teenage Dream' for much of the past twelve months, and recently revealed she and 'Wild Ones' singer Sia have been working together.

Katy shared a picture on Twitter last night (6th February) of the two stars sharing a can of red bull in the recording studio while pulling silly faces, suggesting the two have been working hard on some new music.

"This studio session has just taken a turn," Katy tweeted alongside the cheeky snap.

The 'California Dreams' singer was recently linked to reports she is planning to launch her own Dita Von Teese inspired clothing line in the near future.

Katy Perry is set to appear as a presenter at this weekend's Grammy Awards 2013 (10th February), while her third studio album is expected to see a full announcement sometime later this year.
