Katy Perry Supports Russell Brand Over Occupy Wall Street Protest

Katy Perry has praised her husband Russell Brand for taking part in the Occupy Wall Street protest in New York.

The 'Teenage Dream' singer paid tribute to Russell on Twitter – and said he was representing them both.

In a message on Twitter, Katy wrote: "i know my hubby @rustyrockets is there now...still... reppin us both! Tell him to call his wife if you see him! lolz."

Russell is the latest celebrity to visit the protest in the city's financial district, where protesters are campaigning for an end to corporate greed.

Meanwhile, Katy has been busy spending time with her husband's mum during her current California Dreams UK tour.

Earlier this week, the 'Last Friday Night' star was spotted taking Barbara Brand to see Ghost: The Musical in London's West End.
