The 'E.T.' singer has been pictured in marine slacks while filming something at a Marine Corps base in California.

Katy Perry has reportedly been pictured filming scenes for what is expected to be the music video for her new single 'Part Of Me'.

The 'Last Friday Night' singer was spotted kitted out in marine slacks and cropped black wig alongside several other soldiers in pictures that emerged yesterday (17th February).

According to Perez Hilton, Katy has been filming at the USMC base camp Pendleton in Oceanside, California, although representatives for both the base and Katy herself have yet to confirm this.

Fresh from her performance at the Grammy Awards last weekend (12th February) Katy tweeted that she couldn't wait to start filming the official video for her new single.

"Part of Me' is one of several new tracks that will be included on a special rerelease of Katy's 2011 album retitled 'Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection'.
