Katy Perry has sparked rumours that she has a new boyfriend after being spotted embracing the guitarist from Florence & The Machine at Coachella Festival in Los Angeles.

The 'Firework' star cuddled up to Robert Ackroyd as they watched the performances at the festival. Photographs of the pair also appear to show them kissing.

Attending the festival for a second weekend running, Katy wore a matching printed shirt and shorts combo, complete with purple hair.

The 'Teenage Dream' star has been single since divorcing her husband Russell Brand at the end of 2011.

Katy was accompanied to the festival last weekend by Rihanna and was spotted crowdsurfing while RiRi joined Calvin Harris on stage.
