The 'Part Of Me' singer is seen heading to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn in a trailer for her VMAs slot.
Katy Perry has been confirmed for a performance at this year's MTV Video Music Awards 2013 after starring in a brand new trailer to announce the appearance.
The 'Wide Awake' singer is set to perform her new song 'Roar' live at the annual music industry showcase in Brooklyn later this month, fresh from unveiling the song over the week to a huge reception from fans.
The new trailer confirming Katy's VMAs slot sees a group of followers gathering on the streets of Brooklyn alongside a tiger before being joined by Katy, who emerges from a manhole cover and then makes her way to the Barclays Center to the soundtrack of 'No Sleep Till Brooklyn' by the Beastie Boys.
Yesterday (12th August) also saw Katy unveiling a song lyric music video for new single 'Roar', the first track to be lifted from her upcoming third studio album 'Prism'.
Katy Perry is set to officially release 'Roar' in the UK on 8th September.
The MTV Video Music Awards 2013 takes place Sunday 25th August live from Brooklyn, New York.
