The 'Your Body Is A Wonderland' seemingly confirmed the couple may be back together.

John Mayer dedicated the final song on the opening night of his new tour to on-off girlfriend Katy Perry for helping him through his voice issues over the last year.

The US singer-songwriter kicked off his 'Born And Raised' world tour with a show in Milwaukee on Saturday evening (6th July), and seemed to confirm rumours he has reunited with the 'Firework' singer.

John made a point to thank Katy for sticking by him after he underwent throat surgery in August 2012, and dedicated 'A Face To Call Home' to Katy as his final song of the evening.

"She was so patient," John told the excited crowd during Saturday's show, according to Rolling Stone. "[She took the time] to continue to get to know me and love me".

The 'Your Body Is A Wonderland' singer went on to dedicate the song to her and described the 'Teenage Dream' singer as "my face to call home".

John seemed emotional throughout the comeback show and admitted he had spent "many, many months dreaming of this night", as he wowed the audience with songs from across all of his albums.

Last week the pair shared a snap of themselves embracing during the Fourth Of July celebrations while both wore stars & stripes themed outfits.
