The 'Part Of Me' star stepped out with her man for a festive evening where she even got to meet Santa himself.

Katy Perry and John Mayer made their first red carpet appearance as a couple last night for a festive Broadway musical in New York City.

The 'Part Of Me' star was joined by 'Your Body Is A Wonderland' singer John for a night out at the musical A Christmas Story: The Musical at New York's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on Wednesday evening (12th December).

Katy got into the Christmas spirit with a colourful knitted dress, patterned with festive coloured red and green, which she paired with a black skirt and blue suede heels.

The 'Firework' star has been long been rumoured to be dating fellow US singer-songwriter John since July this year, and the two were pictured out enjoying the festivities at last night's event where Katy even got to meet a man dressed up as Santa.

US star John opted for a pair of beige chino trousers, a white polo shirt and a blazer for his red carpet debut alongside the 'Teenage Dream' singer.
