Katy Perry To Host Saturday Night Live

The 'Teenage Dream' singer will follow in her husband's footsteps by hosting Saturday Night Live in December.

Katy Perry will guest host an episode of US comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live next month.

The 'One That Got Away' singer's record label EMI has confirmed Perry will take on hosting duties for a single episode in early December.

Katy previously made an appearance on Saturday Night Live in 2010 both as Amy Poehler's musical guest as well as in a sketch spoofing her controversial Sesame Street appearance.

The singer's comedian husband Russell Brand also served as a guest host on Saturday Night Live back in February.

Katy was given a special achievement award at the American Music Awards on Sunday (20^th November) in recognition of achieving five number one singles from one album.

Katy Perry's guest hosting spot on Saturday Night Live will air on 10^th December.
