Katy Perry Set To Make First Public Appearance Since Announcing Divorce To Russell Brand

The 'I Kissed A Girl' star will reportedly be attending the People's Choice Awards next week.

Katy Perry could be set to make her first public appearance since news of her divorce to Russell Brand broke last week.

The 'I Kissed A Girl' star is nominated for a total of seven awards at the People's Choice Awards ceremony in Los Angeles on the 11^th January and is believed to be attending the industry event.

Comedian Russell Brand announced details of the separation after a total of 14 months together with the American singer last Friday (30^th December) and Katy is yet to have been seen in the public eye since.

Katy has received nods in both the Best Female Artist and Pop Artist of 2011 categories as well as another five nominations.

Meanwhile, Russell is reportedly to have criticised his wife's appearance on US comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live last month.

The 38th People's Choice Awards will broadcast on US channel CBS live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
