The 'Part Of Me' star says she hopes to have a baby in the future and admits she still "likes London boys".

Katy Perry has confessed that she is "excited" to see what the future will bring and still believes in love.

The 'I Kissed A Girl' star told the Daily Mirror that she looks upon her life as a "modern fairytale" and is keen to become a mum.

The American star conceded that although she has plans for a child, now is not the right time.

"I want to be a mother but now's not the right time. A baby can't have a baby, and I'm still a baby," she admitted.

She was questioned as to whether she is afraid of falling in love again, following the marriage breakdown to comedian Russell Brand.

"No, absolutely not," she said. "I'm excited for the future, whatever it brings. I still believe in love, most definitely."

Katy declared she thinks her life is something of a "fairytale" and jokes she still has a thing for London boys.

"I've learnt I'm in a very modern fairy tale," she stated. "But I also know I don't need the Prince Charming to have a happy ending. I can make the happy ending myself.

"But I still like London boys... except one."

The 'Firework' star recently revealed that she has plans to "go into hiding" once she has finished the promotional campaign on her new 3D concert movie - which hits cinemas on 5th July.
