Katy Perry is set to open this year's Logie Awards in Australia.
The singer will kick-start the TV industry awards ceremony with a performance of her hit single 'Firework' in Melbourne on May 1.
Jessie J is also set to appear at the event.
Australian TV Week publisher Peter Holder said he was 'delighted' Katy has accepted an offer to perform at the awards.
'We're over the moon,' he told the Australian Herald Sun newspaper.
'She's certainly one of the hottest international acts and to have her on board on May 1 is a great thing.'
