The 'SexyBack' singer went above and beyond his guest host duties for a surprise acoustic set.

Justin Timberlake shocked the Capital FM Summertime Ball 2013 audience tonight (9th June) with a surprise acoustic performance.

The 'Suit & Tie' singer was the special guest host for this year's Capital FM event at Wembley Stadium and introduced some of the biggest stars in pop right now throughout the show.

After will.i.am's huge performance Justin emerged from underneath the stage for an impromptu acoustic performance to deafening cheers from the 80,000 strong audience, beginning with his iconic single 'Cry Me A River'

"We're going to have a little sing-along tonight, what do you think? Justin cheekily told the crowd. "Anytime you want to sing-along with me."

Backed by a single guitarist, and playing an acoustic guitar himself, Justin gave an emotional stripped-back performance of the song with his epic vocals on true display.

The 'Mirrors' singer went on to include snippets from some of the biggest songs in music history including 'Ain't No Sunshine' and 'Heartbreak Hotel', before asking the audience if they want to hear "another one".

When the crowd overwhelming responded positively  Justin gave a cheeky smile before launching into a performance of 'What Goes Around... Comes Around'.

Justin Timberlake then rounded off his surprise performance by belting out a round of his recent single 'Mirrors' which the audience obligingly sang along with the US superstar.
