The 'Somebody To Love' singer is celebrating his 18th birthday today and received a surprise gift.

Justin Bieber's manager Scooter Braun surprised the 'Baby' singer today (1st March) for his 18th birthday with an unexpected present.

The 'Live Your Life' star turns 18 today and made an appearance on The Ellen Show, where host Ellen DeGeneres revealed that Scooter wanted to give him a special gift.

"You work really, really hard and I always yell at you, don't get anything flashy, we're not about that, be humble, be humble," Scooter told Justin during the show. "I kind of broke my own rule.

"So we wanted to make sure you were being environmentally friendly and we wanted to make sure, since you love cars, that when you're on the road you are always looking environmentally friendly. We decided to get you a car that we knew would make you stand out."

Scooter then told a speechless Justin that he and Usher had bought him a luxury 2012 Fisker Karma, an all-electric sports car worth $100,000 which comes complete with solar panelled roof.

"This is amazing," a shocked Justin said while inspecting his new vehicle.

Ellen also gave the 'Never Say Never' singer a gift by presenting him with a customised Justin Bieber and Ellen DeGeneres portable solar panel and an Ellen bobble head.

Justin Bieber also announced on The Ellen Show that his first single from new album 'Believe' will be called 'Boyfriend' and is out 26th March.
