Reports of a split between the couple have been downplayed after a dinner date out with friends.
Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were spotted dining out with friends in California last night, seemingly putting rumours to rest of a break-up between the young couple.
The 'Boyfriend' singer and actress Selena were heavily reported to have split up last week, in the wake of a failed dinner date on Friday night (16th November) that ended with Selena leaving after just ten minutes.
However, rumours of a reconciliation circulated on Sunday (18th November) after the American Music Awards 2012 when the two were spotted enjoying an after party at the Marriott Hotel in Los Angeles and later being photographed holding hands outside Bootsy Bellows.
The next day Justin was seen leaving Selena's home in Los Angeles in the morning (19th November) while they were both later pictured heading out to dinner at the Benihanan restaurant in Encino, California.

Justin and Selena entered and left the restaurant separately alongside a number of friends, with Selena holding up her hands to shield herself from the cameras, and 'Beauty And A Beat' singer Justin arriving fresh from a workout at the gym.

AMAs 2012 presenter Jenny McCarthy has also fuelled rumours the couple are still together when she tweeted the following after the awards ceremony: "My cub @justinbieber brought his acceptable and beautifully aged beauty Selena to the AMA after party. Guess I'm back on the prowl.
Justin Bieber had a hugely successful night at the American Music Awards 2012 when he picked up three awards in tots, including Artist Of The Year, and performed an acoustic version of 'As Long As You Love Me' before being joined by Nicki Minaj to sing 'Beauty And A Beat'.
