The 'Baby' singer is number one on Bing.com's countdown as Michael Jackson drops out of the top ten.

Justin Bieber has been named Bing.com's most searched for person of 2011.

Bieber fever went into overdrive this year as the singer moved from sixth place last year to take 2011's top spot.

The teen sensation was the only male present in the top ten and beat last year's highest placing musician, Lady Gaga.

The 'Marry The Night' star found herself in ninth place with fellow female artist Katy Perry two places ahead in seventh.

The 'California Gurls' singer made it into the top ten for the first time joining Britney Spears who also made her debut on the countdown.

However, it's bad news for the late Michael Jackson who dropped out of the top ten.

Meanwhile, Justin Bieber's next studio album is reportedly going to see the singer make the transition from teen pop star into an adult artist.

The Bing.com top-10 most searched countdown is as follows:

3 - Jennifer Aniston
