The 'Cooler Than Me' singer says the Canadian pop star's new song will surprise a lot of people.

Justin Bieber's new single 'Boyfriend' has been described as "hater-proof" and "super hip-hop" by the song's producer and co-writer Mike Posner.

The 'Never Say Never' star confirmed earlier this month that 'Boyfriend' will be the first single to be released from his new album 'Believe', and joined up with 'Cooler Than Me' singer Mike on the new track.

"I have Bieber's new single. I wrote and produced that with him," Mike Posner revealed to US radio host DJ Bootleg Kev. "And wait 'til you hear the beat, you're going to flip.

"You're going to want to play this song," he promised. "Yes, it's super hip-hop."

The singer-songwriter also confirmed that 18 year-old Justin does rap on the record, and described the 'Mistletoe' singer as "super talented".

He added: "That was our whole goal, was yo make something that was hater-proof."

Justin Bieber's new single 'Boyfriend' is due out on 26th March.
