Justin Bieber And Lady Gaga Among Most Searched People On Google In 2011

The 'Mistletoe' singer takes his second search engine crown of the year ahead of the 'Marry The Night' star.

Justin Bieber has been named as Google's most searched for person in 2011.

The 'Baby' singer had previously won the same title in Bing.com's round-up of the year and beat fellow musician Lady Gaga who came in third place behind Kim Kardashian.

Nicki Minaj and Amy Winehouse also featured in the same list, taking fourth and ninth place respectively.

Gaga had better luck in the fastest rising song search category as her single 'Born This Way' took top honours.

The stats from Google's annual Zeitgeist site come after it was revealed yesterday that Adele was the fastest rising female following the success of her second studio album '21'.
