Jingle Bell Ball 2013: On Air

The 'Love Me Again' star chats about how well his music is going down across the pond.

John Newman spoke to Capital backstage at the Jingle Bell Ball 2013 and admitted he is looking forward to heading over to the US next year.

His music is attracting a lot of attention in America – something the UK singer is very excited about.

"That feels amazing. It's such a big place to go out and do," he explained. "With a lot of hard work you can get such great success if it pulls off."

He also gave details on his Christmas plans and said he would be heading for a lovely break in the Lake District.

John performs on night two of the Jingle Bell Ball on a line-up which includes the likes of Jessie J, Jason Derulo and his close friends Rudimental.

The show will be headlined by Lady Gaga.
