JLS Wish One Direction And The Wanted Good Luck At MTV Video Music Awards 2012 Tonight

The 'Proud' stars also received a message from The Saturdays ahead of their own iTunes Festival set.

JLS have received a message of good luck from The Saturdays' Rochelle Wiseman today ahead of their iTunes Festival performance, as well as wishing both The Wanted and One Direction the best of luck at the MTV Video Music Awards 2012 this evening.

The 'Take A Chance On Me' singers are due to take to the stage at the Roundhouse in Camden, London today (6th September) for their headline set at the month-long festival, and band member Marvin Humes' wife Rochelle has sent them a special message all the way from Los Angeles.

"Wishing my boys @JLSOfficial all the best of luck @ the iTunes fest tonight!! Smash it woopp," Rochelle tweeted this afternoon, to which Marvin then replied: "@RochelleTheSats thank you!!!! Good luck for your @VMAawards after party performance tonight with @perezhilton thinking of you!! Mx."

JLS then sent out a special post to fellow UK boy bands One Direction and The Wanted, both of whom are nominated for gongs at the MTV Video Music Awards tonight in Los Angeles, where One Direction are also set to perform live.

"Good luck to @onedirection and @thewantedmusic at tonight's VMA awards," JLS posted. "Bring the awards home lads!! Have a great night.. Marv and the boys."

Both bands are up for Best New Artist this evening while One Direction's single 'What Makes You Beautiful' is also up for Best Pop Video.

JLS are currently preparing for their own performance at the Roundhouse tonight as the latest act to play the iTunes Festival, which has already seen the likes of Usher, Ed Sheeran and Emeli Sande perform, and tweeted: "Backstage @JLSItunesFesitval just finished sound check… gonna be a HUGE night tonight!!."

Today also marked the first play of JLS' new single 'Hottest Girl In The World' on Capital, which was hailed afterward by fans as both "amazing" and "worth the wait".

JLS' new album 'Evolution', which they have promised will be a "rebirth" of the band, is due for release on 5th November.
