JLS "New single almost ready"

JLS have told Capital that their new single is almost ready for release and it could be another collaboration.

Speaking at a charity table tennis night at London’s Gilgamesh last night, Marvin revealed "we’re very closing to finishing our new single and the album is coming together nicely, so we’re all really excited about it. The next single could possibly have a feature on it.” Aston added “if we said fe…male male, then they you don’t know right. It could be either but we can’t say too much just yet!"

Marvin celebrated winning the Top Spin Trophy at last night’s ping-ping competition after beating Aston in the final whilst raising money for an African educational charity. He told us “ Man it’s wicked but it’s all for a good cause. Obviously playing Aston in the final was pretty tight but I got there in the end and we were seriously competitive. We didn’t even speak during the game. We had a proper ‘I wanna win’ face on but we’re always like that. It’s all good.”

Marvin also proved that the JLS boys have Royal Wedding fever, like the rest of the country. Marv wore a special T- shirt to the event and explained "I thought I would get into the royal wedding spirit so I thought I’d wear my ‘Kate and Wills Forever” T-shirt so I’m just showing my appreciation to the big day on Friday."

JB confirmed that the band have the day off on Friday and admitted “I think it’s really exciting and really nice, especially as we’re about the same sort of age so we wish them all the very best."

But Aston admitted that all the wedding talk reminded him that he’s still single. “It upsets me that people are still getting married and I’m still like, home alone” he teased.

The band also confessed that they’ve seen a cut of their forthcoming 3D tour documentary film. “Without the usual clichés, there’s stuff in this film that people will have never seen about us before and I genuinely mean that. People will be shocked when they see it and see a different side of us it’s very fly on the wall” Marvin revealed.

Aston added “there are some fun scenes but also some emotional scenes; moments where a couple of us open up about our history, so look out for that. And you know how JLS like a bit of karaoke…well that’s all I’ll say for now."

The new Top Spin table tennis night launches at Gilgamesh, London on May 18 and the JLS film "Eyes Wide Open" is nationwide on June 3rd.
