The former JLS star reveals some fresh news about what's to come for him in 2015.

Aston Merrygold is VERY excited about 2015… the year he finally reveals his new solo music to the world!

The former JLS star is striking out on his own, having signed a record deal at the end of September.

Aston Merrygold Teases His Solo Music Plans

Aston's now chatted to us EXCLUSIVELY about what's to come, and promises an exciting new sound and a reveal in early 2015.

"You'll be hearing stuff in the New Year. It's very exciting," Aston revealed exclusively to Capital's showbiz reporter Kevin Hughes. "Soundwise, it's hard to say, but it is me, it's Aston, so obviously no one knows what that sounds like as of yet, apart from myself, my manager and the record label!

"I'm definitely ready for the challenge and the [JLS] boys have been great, very supportive, great words of wisdom and they're my older brothers at the end of the day," he added. "I'm ready. 2015 is the year to watch for Aston."
