The JLS star says he is enjoying fulfilling a dream by having his own radio show on Capital.

Marvin Humes has opened up about moving on from JLS as Capital's newest radio presenter.

The 'Hottest Girl In The World' star joined Capital recently, hosting his own show on Friday and Saturday nights, following the news that JLS will split at the end of 2013.

"One career is coming to an end and another door is opening," Marvin revealed to the Daily Star this past week. 'You get an element of having to prove yourself coming from a boy band, but if I get people knocking me back because I was in JLS, then fine.

"I use knock-backs to strive forward and known on another door," the singer turned presenter explained. "I'm in a great place, I've always wanted my own radio show.

"I'm mixing in songs not on the radio playlist so it's something different for Capital and it's a fantastic brand to be associated with," Marvin continued.

"I did want a girl first, for her to be daddy's girl," he revealed. "We're in the honeymoon period with her.

Marvin and Rochelle enjoyed a date night out in London last week in a rare night off from looking after baby Alaia-Mai.
