The 'Who You Are' singer says she loves that people get to see a different side of her on the new talent show.

Jessie J says she is excited people get to see her true personality come through as a vocal coach on brand new reality show The Voice UK.

The BBC One talent search series kicked off on Saturday (24th March), and features panelists Jessie, Sir Tom Jones, Danny O'Donoghue and will.i.am, and the 'Domino' singer loves that fans get to see her being "a bit silly".

It's very scary but very exciting. But you know what? I'm just excited because I get to see a different side of things and people get to see me in a completely different scenario," Jessie told The Sun this week. "I'm not singing and it's not me doing a three-minute TV performance, so people get to see my personality and really see that I have a passion for what I do.

"That's what I'm most excited about," Jessie explained. "People getting to see that I am a bit silly, make jokes and get told off."

She added: "But I'm also a hard worker and care about technique and the artist, and I get very emotional."

On Friday (23rd March) Jessie confirmed plans to release her David Guetta collaboration 'LaserLight' as the next single from the platinum edition of her debut album 'Who You Are'.

The Voice UK will continue this Saturday (31st March).

Jessie J will officially release new single 'LaserLight' on 13th May while The Voice UK launches Saturday (24th March) on BBC One.
