The 'Who You Are' star tells Capitalfm.com that she owes her Heartbeats a lot for their support.

Jessie J has revealed that she wrote her hit 'LaserLight' as a thank you to her fans.

The track, which features David Guetta, features on the recently released extended edition of the star's debut album 'Who You Are'.

Speaking to Capitalfm.com, Jessie said 'LaserLight' was the perfect way to pay tribute to her fans for supporting her first album, which was released at the start of 2011.

"I always wanted it to be a single and the David Guetta collaboration just made it that extra bit more special," she said.

"I loved it and I just wanted it to be put out there – it was something different and it was about my fans.

"It was the last single on the album and I thought it was nice to round it off with a thank you to them for keeping me here, and keeping me good and keeping me safe."

Jessie revealed that despite working together on the song, she and David had not worked together in the same studio before.

Asked whether she would like to work with the 'Titanium' producer again, Jessie replied: "Yes, definitely."

Jessie J is among the artists set to perform at Capital FM's Summertime Ball, which takes place at London's Wembley Stadium on 9th June.
