Jessie J Tweets Emeli Sande Congratulations On BRIT Critics Choice Award

The 'Price Tag' singer has told the 'Daddy' singer 2012 will be her year after winning the coveted BRIT Awards prize.

Jessie J has congratulated Emeli Sande on winning the 2012 BRITs Critics' Choice Award.

The 'Heaven' singer was named winner of the prestigious honour yesterday (15^th November) after beating out fellow shortlisted acts Maverick Sabre and Michael Kiwanuka.

So PROUD and HAPPY for Emeli Sande for winning this years' British Critics Choice Award," Jessie tweeted earlier today (16^th December). "Congratulations girl."

Jessie added: "Here's to 2012 being your year :D x"

Emeli released two solo singles in 2011, 'Heaven' and 'Daddy', and also featured on Professor Green's Big Top 40 number one 'Read All About It'.

The Scottish singer-songwriter will release her debut album 'Our Version Of Events' in February 2012.

Both Emeli Sande and Jessie J performed at the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball earlier in December.
