The 'Burn' singer also reveals which awards she would most like to win next month.
Ellie Goulding and Jessie J have reacted to the news that they are both up for awards at the BRIT Awards 2014, with Jessie saying it is a "great moment" to celebrate.
'Burn' singer Ellie picked up three nods in total, two for Best British Single with Capital FM and one for British Female Solo Artist.
The UK singer-songwriter has since revealed exclusively to Capital which of the awards she would most like to win.
"['British Female Solo Artist' is] the one I would really like to win," Ellie told Capital's showbiz reporter Kevin Hughes. "But I don't know, I'm up against some heavyweights!
"I will probably cry, so I'll wear waterproof mascara!" Ellie also said of her pre-BRITs preparations.
Jessie J is also nominated for British Female Solo Artist and says she still gets excited by events like the BRITs and wants to really enjoy the moment.
"I've only been doing this for three years and people forget that," Jessie explained. "I'm still very new to this.
"I've done so much in the last few years," she continued. " 'm just wanting to enjoy it and I want to always remember that there's bad moments you have to endure and then there are great moments and when there's great moments you have to celebrate them."
The BRIT Awards 2014 takes place on 19th February at London's O2 Arena.
