Jennifer Lopez Acknowledges "Up And Down" Year At American Music Awards 2011

The 'On The Floor' star pays tribute to her family during her acceptance speech in Los Angeles.

Jennifer Lopez acknowledged that she had endured an "up and down" year during her acceptance speech at this year's American Music Awards (AMAs).

The 'On The Floor' star collected the prize for Favourite Artist In Latin Music at the ceremony in Los Angeles last night (21^st November).

J-Lo, who split with husband Marc Anthony in the summer, told her fans: "First of all I want to thank God because it's been a really amazing year in some many ways.

"It's been up and down, and just exciting and overwhelming – so many things."

She added: " I'm just grateful for all my blessings. I just want to thank my family most of all, my beautiful babies, who inspire me every day to be a better person in everything I do."

Jennifer Lopez also performed her new song with Will.i.am 'T.H.E (The Hardest Part)' at the ceremony.
