The '99 Problems' rapper could be set to team up with Chris Martin and co at the sports spectacular this month.

Jay-Z is reportedly set to make an appearance on stage with Coldplay at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

The 'Girls Girls Girls' star teamed up with the band on a remix of their track 'Lost' which featured on a deluxe edition of their 'Viva La Vida' album and toured together back in 2009.

"Jay-Z and Chris Martin are close friends so he helped to get the rapper on board," a source revealed to the Daily Mirror. "They are putting together a spectacular set list – one likely to include a duet."

Rihanna was recently linked with a guest slot at the band's headline show on the 9th September and joined the band at their Paris 'Mylo Xyloto' gig this weekend.

The source continued: "It's going to be one hell of a show and fans of both artists will be clamouring for tickets.

"The Paralympics has exceeded all expectation and, like the rest of the world, Jay-Z has been blown away by their bravery and athleticism."

One Direction, The Spice Girls, Jessie J and Tinie Tempah were among the stars who performed at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics last month.

"This will be a concert like no other and a fantastic end to what has been the most successful Paralympics ever," added the show insider.

Meanwhile, this past weekend also say Jay's Made In America festival take place in Philadelphia with the likes of Skrillex and Pearl Jam performing across the two day event.
