Jay Sean's labelled Nicki Minaj "the world's biggest female rapper"

The rap sensation called Jay to see if they could work together on '2012' and the British star says it was a fantastic experience.

He told Capital's Rich and Kat, "She's become the world's biggest female rapper. Things kick off earlier in America and she's already a super, super superstar over there and now I think the rest of the world is picking up on her".

Jay added he's following in her footsteps by doing plenty of collaborations, "Rappers over there in America a lot of time they make their name by featuring on other people's songs and I do collaborations for the same reason as I've realised that's how they make a name for themselves."
