The Girls Aloud singer admits her bandmate is very unlikely to ever appear on the Tom Daley show.

Kimberly Walsh has confessed that her Girls Aloud bandmate Cheryl Cole will never appear as a contestant on Tom Daley's hit reality series Splash!

The Olympic bronze medalist has often spoke of his desire to get the 'Call My Name' star on board for the show – even a charity edition.

Speaking to Capital FM, the Strictly Come Dancing star quashed any rumours linking her friend with the series.

"She's not really a water baby. She gets scared like even swimming in the sea and stuff," declared Kimberley. "I think you can safely say she's not going to be doing that."

She added: "She only does swan dives out of water. Not in it."

Meanwhile, Girls Aloud are currently busy in rehearsals for their upcoming reunion UK tour.

The band performed their first live set together since announcing their return back in December at Capital's Jingle Bell Ball 2012.
