Girls Aloud will return in 2012 to mark their tenth anniversary, it has been confirmed.
According to MTV the girls manager Hilary Shaw revealed;
"Everybody wants them to make a comeback and it will be next year," she said. "Well, it is their 10th anniversary so there will be something."
However, Shaw warned fans not to expect new material from the band just yet as they are all busy working on solo projects.
Discussing recent rumours of rifts between the girls Shaw added;
"The girls are still getting on great, they speak all the time, and that includes Cheryl and Nadine with the other girls. Cheryl is keen to get back with the girls and is planning something which could be a one-off or some gigs."
As a group, Girls Aloud notched up 20 Top 10 singles before taking a break back in 2009.
