Frank Ocean Releases New Album 'Channel Orange' A Week Early

The Odd Future star rush releases his new album on digital formats ahead of official due date.

Frank Ocean has brought forward the release of his new album 'Channel Orange'.

The Odd Future rapper's debut album had been due to arrive on 23rd July, but was released on iTunes this morning (10th July).

Frank revealed plans to bring the album release forward during his appearance on US talkshow Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.

As well as the rapper's Odd Future bandmate Earl Sweatshirt, 'Channel Orange' also features collaborations with Outkast's Andre 3000 and John Mayer.

The album is also available to download on Frank Ocean's official Tumblr page.

Last week, Frank Ocean spoke about his sexuality for the first time, revealing that his first love was a man.

The rapper's decision to speak so candidly about his sexuality was praised by Beyonce, who wrote a poem describing him as "open" and "honest".
