Florence And The Machine At BRITs 2012: "It's A Good Time For British Music" - Video

The 'Shake It Out' singer says she is happy to be a part of the music business at the moment.

Florence Welch says now is a "really good time" for the UK music industry and thinks its great so many British artist are finding success internationally.

The Florence and the Machine front woman made the comments while arriving at the BRIT Awards 2012 yesterday (21st December), where she was nominated in two award categories for Best British Breakthrough and Best British Album.

"It's been an amazing year for me [and] it's been an amazing year for Adele," Florence told Capital FM's showbiz reporter Kevin Hughes on the BRITs 2012 red carpet. "There's a lot of acts that are really being embraced nationally and it's a really good time for British music.

She added: "I'm just happy to be a part of it."

Despite not picking up any award herself at the BRITs yesterday Florence and the Machine performed live at the O2 Arena when they took to the stage to perform their track 'No Light, No Light'.

 I'm really looking forward to seeing Adele and I would really love to meet PJ Harvey but I didn't know if she's coming to do .She's a realy hero tonight so I would love to meet her.
