The 'I Cry' rapper teases a team-up with the boy band as he praises their fans and support.

Flo Rida has fueled speculation of a future collaboration with One Direction by stating he thinks it would be "beautiful for music".

The 'Good Feeling' star told Capitalfm.com that he would love the chance to get in the studio with the former X Factor stars and thinks they would both hold their own.

"They hold their ground, I'm pretty sure if I get on the record I'm gonna hold my ground," he admitted.

The Miami based star confessed that he likes to try collaborations which people might not expect because it's what the fans want to hear.

"That's what the fans like. They love seeing some things that might seem out of the norm," he added. "But, we both have fans that love us and support our records to the utmost and I just think that would be beautiful for music."

The rapper also recently joined forces with One Direction's close friend and US touring partner Olly Murs for his new single 'Troublemaker'.
