Example gets into Twitter row with Cher Lloyd fans
Example has become embroiled in a Twitter row with Cher Lloyd fans after he joked about her single leaking online.
The star posted a series of jibes on Twitter about the former X Factor contestant's debut track 'Swagger Jagger'.
'Cher Lloyd's single has been leaked, the biggest crime since she got a record deal,' he wrote.
The joke prompted an angry response from Cher's fans on his social networking page.
'Around 20 per cent of my mentions today have been about how Cher Lloyd is actually better than me because she has more followers. Amazing,' he said.
The star added: 'Dear Cher Lloyd fans, yes Cher Lloyd has 200,000 more followers than me but 300,000 of them are her cousins.'
Example recently performed his chart topping single 'Changed The Way You Kiss Me' at the Summertime Ball.
