Example To Play Capital FM's Summertime Ball 2012

The 'Stay Awake' star will perform alongside the likes of Coldplay at Wembley Stadium this June.

Example will perform at this year's Capital FM Summertime Ball, it's been announced.

The 'Change The Way You Kiss Me' star will take the stage alongside a host other big names at Wembley Stadium in London on 9th June 2012.

Example was among the acts who also performed at last year's event and will arrive at the 2012 Summertime Ball fresh of the back of his sold-out UK arena tour which kicks off later this month.

The rapper-producer, who wrote The Wanted's recent single 'Chasing The Sun', is currently putting the finishing touches to his new album and will release a new song with Ed Sheeran for free this summer after teasing details of the track via his Twitter account over the past few months.

He joins a Summertime Ball line-up that already includes BRIT Award winning British band Coldplay.

Example has had hit’s in 18 countries in the last 12 months and recently unveiled his new collaborative track 'Daydreamer' with Flux Pavillion.

Tickets for the fourth edition of the event go on general sale on Monday (23rd April 2012) at 8am.
